Google Drive
With Google Drive, you get 15 GB of free storage right from the start. Additional storage space can be purchased for a fee – up to 30 TB in total. You can put files of any format on the platform. You can then always access these – be it with the computer or the mobile phone. As with Dropbox, you can also share files so that other users can access them. This feature is particularly useful for projects with several participants: anyone can edit an uploaded file.
OneDrive
Microsoft offers OneDrive cloud storage. The basic version gives you 5 GB of free storage space. You can increase this up to 1 TB for a fee. Microsoft attaches great importance to security: There is an SSL encryption, and invitation links run from. This means that you can only give someone temporary access to your data. Incidentally, you can access the stored data with any device – even offline.
iCloud

Tonido
With this provider, you can create your cloud storage server. This works on all devices – you can even have pictures taken with your smartphone automatically uploaded to the server. In addition to a high level of adaptability, particular importance is attached to security. If you want to use the service for private purposes, this is even free.
One disadvantage: the data is not stored on an external server, but your computer is turned into a server. To access the data, the computer must be permanently switched on with Internet access to let. This also has another advantage: You have practically unlimited storage space. Because if your computer memory is insufficient, you can expand it with additional hard drive hardware. By giving your server address to others, they can also access your Tonido server.
pCloud
The cloud storage provider cloud equips you with up to 20 GB of free storage. This storage space can be expanded to up to 2 TB for a fee. You can easily access pCloud with any of your devices. The provider advertises with guaranteed security. Nevertheless, you can, of course, share your uploaded data with your friends.
Mega
With Mega, you get a whopping 20 GB of free storage. This may, for example, by inviting friends also extended to. However, the free offer is only valid for 180 days. After that, you have to pay at least € 4.99 per month to continue using the service.

In addition to saving and synchronizing data, you can also share it with other people, provided you give them access. This also works again with an encryption key. After a free trial period of 14 days, Tresorit is chargeable.
