FORSBERG AGRITECH Daal Mill Machinery is a Semi-Automatic Composite Unit that consists of a Dehusking Machine, an Aspirator Assembly and a Reciprocating Sieving Arrangement, all combined together in a manner that the entire system operates on a 1 H.P. electric motor. The Daal Mill machinery also dehusks and Splits about 80 to 150 kgs of pulses per hour. Pre-milled pulses follow the same procedure.

From time immemorial PULSES (daal) have formed a part of the Daily Indian Menu. In India only 6.25 million tons of pulses which are roughly 50% of the total annual Indian production are mainly processed in the rural areas by the old traditional systems of either pounding them in MORTARS or by grinding them in VILLAGE CHAKKIES, which do not yield desired results even after putting in tremendous hard labor. The remaining 50% of the pulses are mainly being processed in big Daal Mill machinery in the country with satisfactory results.

 

In the Forsberg Agritech daal mill machinery the Pulses Dehusking system consists of an inverted emery cone fixed to the vertical shaft which can be lowered or raised by a clearance adjustment screw with a chuck nut and a wheel.


A gravity controlled hopper with micro system is provided at the top for smooth flow of pulses into the machine. The wire mesh cone is covered by a M.S. sheet cone which does not allow the dust to escape.


A suitable steel ladder is provided with the mission that the worker may conveniently pour the pre-milled and graded pulses into the hopper by stepping on the ladder.


The Daal Mill machinery stream from the dehusking unit keeps rolling down over the steps of sieves of the aspirator assembly. The husk and the dust are sucked by the suction blower through a pipe and discharged through an outlet into a bag attached to the outlet. The remaining daal mill stream keeps pouring steadily into the reciprocating sieving frame with its forward and backward movements, pouring the brokens, the dehusked split pulses and the un-dehusked pulses through three separate outlets into containers placed under them.


All these functions are performed by the daal mill machinery automatically in a single operation.


Semi-Automatic Daal Mill Machinery has two speeds systems which can be adjusted by changing V Belts as needed. High speed is needed at the time of dehusking the oil treated split pulses (Green Grams) and (Black Grams). For dehusking and splitting of other pulses and for splitting of only Green Grams (Moong) and Black Grams (Urad), a slow speed is required. Light pulses like Masoor (Lentil) need slow speed whereas other pulses need high speed.

 

When the Pulses Grader is switched on, the inclined rectangular sieve frame starts moving forward and backward thereby grading the pulses in three sizes which keep on pouring size-wise steadily in the containers placed under the respective discharge outlets.
